ADULT DISTANCE EDUCATION
There are more than a million enrollments in Adult Distance Education; credit-granting distance education courses. The number of courses offered by Adult Distance Education almost doubled this year, with many distance education courses offered by distance learning higher education institutions.
This rapid growth in Adult Distance Education has created a potential for fraud and abuse. With so many courses and programs offered by so many Adult Distance Education, how can students determine which courses and programs are worthwhile - and which ones are shams? This network will, after reviewing some information on distance learning education, discuss accreditation, the traditional method of determining the quality of higher education offerings, and its application to Adult Distance Education.
